SalesPilot in Claude

SalesPilot is CrossUp’s connector for Claude: you ask your store how it is doing and it answers with your numbers. You add it with a URL, authorize it with your CrossUp session, and there is no key to copy.

It works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, the mobile app and Claude Code. For Cursor and other clients there is an agent key.

Connect Claude

Open Connectors in Claude

Customize → Connectors → Add → Custom connector. From the CrossUp admin, in API & Agents, the «Open Connectors in Claude» button takes you straight there.

Paste the URL and tap Add

Name SalesPilot, the URL above as the server address, and Add. Then Connect.

Allow access to your store

Claude brings you to CrossUp. If you are not signed in it asks you to; then it shows what Claude will be able to do and you tap Allow. You go back to Claude with the tools ready.

One command, and authorization through the browser, just like Claude:

claude mcp add --transport http salespilot https://salespilot.crossup.ai/mcp/merchants

Then type /mcp, pick salespilot and tap Authenticate.

Clients that don’t do OAuth use an agent key. Generate it in API & Agents → See all clients → Cursor and others and paste it as a header:

The agent key is secret: it goes in your client’s configuration, never in a repo or on a page.

What you can ask

«Turn off SalesPilot on the product page»	Shows what changes, asks you to confirm and turns it off
«This suggestion doesn’t fit my store»	Records your feedback for SalesPilot

For now the connector doesn’t create or edit suggestions or bundles: that is done from the admin. What it does, it does with your session and only while the connection is active.

What you will see

In Claude, the SalesPilot connector with its tools. Ask «how did this cycle go?» and it has to answer with the period («from 09/28 to 10/27») and your store’s numbers, compared with the previous cycle.

If you don’t see it

What happens	What to do
Claude says it couldn’t connect	Check the URL: it ends in `/mcp/merchants`, with no trailing slash
«Your store hasn’t finished connecting yet»	The store didn’t finish installing. Wait a minute and try again from Claude
Claude asks you to reconnect	The connection was revoked or expired. Tap Connect again
«That tool isn’t available through the connector»	It is something still done from the admin (creating or editing suggestions and bundles)
It answers with another store	You signed in with another account. On the permission screen, «Not this one? Switch»
